Our daughter-in-law hates kidney beans so I used lentils instead. My husband loves this chili wrapped in a tortilla and smothered with cheese. Also great with cornbread.

Yes, this is Chili. It is hot but not atomic. I am not a fan of things that take the skin off my tongue. I found this very good in spite of the semi-nuclear nature. :) Got the recipe from my next door...
